Terms of Service

1. Agreement and operator

These Terms are an agreement between you and METHOD TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (“Tinkerwise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By using Tinkerwise, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Mandatory consumer, tax, and dispute-resolution protections that apply where you live continue to apply.

2. The service

Tinkerwise provides interactive explanations, visual models, reading material, practice prompts, and links to further study. Free concepts may be used without an account. Premium concepts and paid features require an account and an active entitlement.

Tinkerwise is educational material, not professional advice. Do not rely on it as a substitute for medical, legal, financial, safety, laboratory, or other professional guidance.

3. Accounts

• Provide information that is accurate and keep your sign-in method secure.
• Do not share access or use another person’s account without permission.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account, except where caused by our failure to use reasonable security.

4. All Access plans

Tinkerwise currently offers an annual plan and a lifetime plan. The exact price, taxes, billing interval, and included features are shown at checkout and form part of the purchase.

• Annual: billed at the interval shown at checkout and automatically renews until cancelled.
• Lifetime: a one-time purchase for access to the included Tinkerwise library for the lifetime of the product, subject to these Terms and the availability provisions below. “Lifetime” does not mean the lifetime of a particular company, server, or future feature.
• Prices and plan features may change for future purchases. Changes will not retroactively alter a paid period unless required by law.

Before completing an annual purchase, the checkout should clearly show the renewal amount, renewal interval, cancellation method, and next billing date. You can cancel annual renewal through the customer portal or through the contact form. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund a completed billing period.

5. Payments, refunds, and withdrawal rights

Payments are processed through Polar or another disclosed payment provider. We do not store your full payment-card details. You authorize the provider to charge the selected plan and applicable taxes using the payment method you provide.

See the Refund Policy for the operational refund process. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights. Where consumer law gives you a cooling-off or withdrawal right, those rules apply. For digital access that begins immediately, any waiver or loss of a withdrawal right will be requested only where the law requires an express consent and acknowledgement.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Tinkerwise to abuse, disrupt, probe, scrape at unreasonable scale, reverse engineer protected systems, bypass premium access controls, resell access, infringe rights, upload malicious code, or use the service in a way that harms other learners or the service.

7. Content and intellectual property

Tinkerwise and its original interface, explanations, models, graphics, code, and branding belong to Tinkerwise or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for learning. You may link to public pages and cite them, but you may not copy, republish, sell, or bulk-download protected content without permission.

Third-party sources are credited on concept pages. Their names, marks, and linked materials remain owned by their respective providers and are governed by their terms.

8. Feedback

If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment to improve Tinkerwise, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Tinkerwise useful and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access or that every model is error-free. We may update, remove, or reorganize concepts and features. We will use reasonable care to preserve access purchased under a current plan, subject to maintenance, security, legal requirements, and the refund or remedy rights that apply to you.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access when necessary to prevent abuse, protect the service, comply with law, or address a serious breach of these Terms. You may stop using Tinkerwise at any time. Account deletion does not by itself cancel an annual subscription; cancel the subscription through the customer portal first.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tinkerwise is provided on an “as available” basis and we disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of data or profits, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, infringement, or mandatory consumer protections where applicable. Any limits on liability apply only to the extent permitted by the law that governs the service.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Tinkerwise’s operation by METHOD TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED in India, without removing any mandatory protections available to consumers where they live. Any dispute will be handled by a court or forum with lawful jurisdiction, unless applicable law gives you another forum or requires another dispute process.
